
Moreover, in the context of the general elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina, scheduled for October 2026, Moldova is ready to cooperate in the field of countering disinformation.
This was said at a meeting between Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu and the chairman of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Council of Ministers, Borjana Cristo. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Three Seas Initiative Summit in Dubrovnik. The sides discussed the strengthening of bilateral relations in the context of the common European aspirations of the two states.
The talks also touched upon the enhancement of economic cooperation, including infrastructure, energy, transport and tourism, as well as the facilitation of the Moldovan products’ access to foreign markets. The sides also backed the initiative to sign a memorandum of understanding in the tourism sector.
According to the government’s press service, Moldova and Bosnia and Herzegovina have already signed nine bilateral agreements, while another six documents, including in the fields of transport, customs, health care, migration, education and tourism, are under negotiation.
Within his working visit to Dubrovnik, the prime minister also met Jan Ružička, director for external relations of PPF Group, an international investment group based in the Czech Republic. The officials discussed the expansion of the already existing investments in Moldova and the search for new opportunities for the country’s economic development.
Filat said that Moldova has a considerable potential in such sectors as infrastructure, energy, electronics, information technologies and agriculture. He stressed that the authorities continue to ensure a stable and predictable business environment, reduce bureaucracy and support investors.
PPF Group expressed interest in participating in the Moldova-EU International Investment Conference, due on June 4.
