Sberbank will transfer more than 400 billion rubles in dividends to the Russian budget

At its shareholders' meeting on June 30, Russia's largest bank decided to pay dividends amounting to 50% of last year's net income.

According to RBC, Sberbank will allocate 850.17 billion rubles for shareholder dividends. This amounts to 37.64 rubles per share. Slightly more than half of the total payout will go to the government. Payments to shareholders will be made in August of this year.

The publication notes that Sberbank’s net profit under IFRS for 2025 reached a new high of 1.705 trillion rubles. This is 7.9% more than a year earlier.

In the draft budget for 2026, the Ministry of Finance has included dividends from the largest bank in the amount of 397.5 billion rubles. Actual payments will be approximately 30 billion rubles higher.
