The project to modernize the facility in accordance with European standards of safety and comfort for the more than 1,400 children admitted to this ward each year was carried out through the efforts of the MAD-Aid charity and private partners who supported this initiative.
The project involved a comprehensive renovation of the premises, replacement of utility systems, installation of new medical equipment and furniture, and the creation of modern and functional patient rooms.
Ion Dodon, CEO of the National Health Insurance Company, emphasized that this success is proof of our society’s maturity and a manifestation of the spirit of solidarity.
“I believe that the involvement of civil society, the business community, and citizens themselves in projects of public interest is a clear sign of our society’s maturity. A strong community is built not only through government action but also through the solidarity of people who choose to contribute to the common good,” noted Ion Dodon.
