According to a report to be reviewed next week by the parliamentary committee on national security, defense, and public order, the Center sent 113 requests to major digital platforms operating in Moldova during the second half of 2025. These requests concerned 976 posts, accounts, and advertisements that violated the platforms’ security rules and national legislation. Following the reviews, 77% of the content was blocked.

The Center assisted government agencies in formulating official positions on high-profile incidents and coordinated interactions with IT giants. In 2025, the agency tested new response protocols. Thanks to the support of relevant departments within ministries, many provocative attacks were successfully neutralized before they could cause harm to society.

The Center considers the development of the “National Information Resilience Index” system to be one of its most important achievements, as it was used to gauge the “social climate” of the Republic of Moldova.

The Center’s budget for 2025 was approved at 12.25 million lei, and by the end of the year stood at 8.47 million lei, with an execution rate of 88.4%. In addition, the material and technical base was strengthened through donor assistance amounting to approximately 2.07 million lei. Specifically, the EU Partnership Mission (EUPM) provided a specialized information system worth 1.58 million lei, and the Institute for Strategic Initiatives (IPIS) donated computer equipment worth 485,000 lei.
