
As Ivona Piorco, the EU Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, emphasized, these awards are intended to recognize organizations that bring about real change in communities and transform civic engagement into an effective force for change.
This year’s winners are:
The National Assistance and Information Center for NGOs “CONTACT Centre” — the “Strengthening the Governance System” award;
The “Golubka” Women’s Club Public Association (Bessarabka) — “Strengthening the Governance System” award;
Public Association “VICON” (Kaushany) — “Strengthening Society” Award;
Public Association “Inima Nordului” (Ocnita) — “Strengthening the Economy” Award;
Public Association “Academy of Creativity and Media Innovation (Safety Zone)” — “Resilience to Disinformation” Award;
Public Association “Hai Moldova” — “Sustainable Development and Green Energy” Award;
“Memoria” Rehabilitation Center for Victims of Torture — “Promoting Gender Equality” Award.
The annual ceremony, organized by the EU Delegation to Moldova, highlights these organizations’ commitment to values such as dignity, inclusivity, and accountability, recognizing their professionalism and significant contributions to improving the country’s public policies.
