RBC writes about this. The publication notes that the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia (AmCham Russia) has an “advisory department” dealing with inquiries from foreign companies about their potential return to the Russian market. A representative of the Chamber informed RBC about this.

“Since the new US administration came in [in January 2025], we have felt a very cautious interest from companies that have left. Sometimes they have deeper questions, and at some point it became clear that we needed to understand which of our members, consulting and law firms, have what expertise in terms of exactly what actions are needed to bring companies back to Russia. And we thought why don’t we make such a product, which we called advisory desk, so that when American companies come to us, we can immediately refer them to those companies that specialize in a particular subject,” the newspaper quotes an AmCham representative as saying .

Some Western firms, especially in the energy, technology and aviation sectors, are studying the Russian market for a potential return, Robert Agee, head of the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia, told Izvestia on June 3. However, this requires first concluding a peace agreement on Ukraine, he emphasized.
