Information about the departure of the 28-year-old footballer from Spartak appeared in early May. It was made public by a well-known Italian insider Fabrizio Romano, who said that the Moldovan defender has already started looking for a new team in Italy and France.

The information was then confirmed by Oleg Ryabchuk himself, who on May 26 published a short farewell message to the Red and Whites on social networks. “Thank you, Spartak, for the last three years! It has been a pleasure,” he wrote.

The Moldovan footballer moved to Spartak in the summer of 2023 from Greek Olympiacos. According to the Transfermarkt portal, the transfer amounted to 6 million euros.

The defender played 73 matches for the Red-Whites and made five goal assists. In the season-2025/26 he did not score in 18 games in all tournaments. Ryabchuk played four times in the spring.

Last season, Spartak finished in fourth place in the RPL standings and won the FONBET Cup of Russia by beating Krasnodar (1-1, penalty shootout 4-3) in the tournament’s superfinal.
