Moldova implements the euro standard for drone identification

The Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development has developed a draft order providing for the approval of a national standard, based on the European standard, for direct remote identification of drones.

Euro standard for drone identification

The document establishes technical requirements for the identification of drones, which are increasingly being used in various fields. It defines requirements for remote identification systems, which will enable real-time monitoring of drones and improve aviation safety.

The project is aimed at harmonizing the legislation of the Republic of Moldova with the EU norms in the field of civil aviation, as well as at strengthening the control and safety of drone use.

Its implementation is part of Moldova’s commitment to harmonize its legislation with EU law in the field of unmanned air transport.

Currently, the order has not been signed – the draft is at the stage of public consultations.
