And that’s still relatively little, considering how cold it’s been this winter, especially in December and January.

Since there was a change in tariffs this month, the gas supplier has scheduled:

About 18.8 million m³ were consumed during the first three days of the month, and consumption reached 135.3 million m³ between February 4 and February 28. Of the total volume for the month, residential consumers consumed about 91.3 million m³, while non-domestic consumers consumed about 62.9 million m³.

The company noted that starting from February 4, 2026, the regulated price of 14.42 lei/m³ (including VAT) is applied for household consumers connected to low-pressure networks, while the first three days of the month are paid at the previous tariff of 16.74 lei/m³.

Energocom also reported that compared to January 2026, gas consumption in February decreased by 13.8%.
