About 120 managers and professionals from the transportation, logistics, operations, purchasing, manufacturing, retail and e-commerce industries are attending.
The program, offered free of charge, is implemented by the Supply Chain Management Center (Romania) in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova (CCI) and hosted by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, in partnership with the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).
MoveUp is part of the regional “Logistics Services” project implemented in Ukraine, Moldova, Serbia and Albania to strengthen logistics skills and improve private sector competitiveness.
“Developing human capital and strengthening the management and operational skills of companies is a priority and is essential to improve competitiveness and support sustainable business growth. Programs such as MoveUp directly respond to the needs of companies operating in a constantly changing economic environment,” said Sergiu Harea, President of the Moldovan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
“The high interest and the large number of participants confirm the relevance of practical logistics training in Moldova and throughout the region,” said Adriana Palaşan, Director of the Center for Supply Chain Management, a leading institution in Romania with more than 20 years of professional training experience.
The launch of the program responds to the growing demand from Moldovan companies for practical knowledge that meets international standards, aimed at improving the efficiency of logistics operations, enhancing sustainability and better integration into regional and global supply chains.
The training program includes 6 modules over 6 months.
