Marco Trevisan has stepped in, taking over from Marco Santini, who has been CEO of Eximbank since April 2018. The company believes that Marco Santini has made a significant contribution to the development of the bank. Under his leadership, Eximbank aligned its operations with Intesa Sanpaolo Group standards and developed a portfolio of products for both individuals and businesses.

The new CEO, Marco Trevisan, will bring international experience in banking and financial management to Eximbank. During his career, he has held senior positions in financial institutions in Central and Western Europe, as well as in the Middle East and Southwest Asia. He has coordinated projects in organizational transformation, strategic development, risk management and optimization of banking processes.

“I am honored to lead Eximbank and continue its mission to develop a modern, sound and customer-centric bank and the region in which it operates. Together with the local team and in synergy with Intesa Sanpaolo Group, we will continue to invest in programs and solutions that will contribute to the economic development of the Republic of Moldova,” said Marco Trevisan.
