The Cabinet will consider a corresponding decision on Wednesday, January 14, at its first meeting of the year.
The government is going to introduce changes to the Unified Program Document for 2025-2027, including 293 new projects. Thus, the total number of local development projects in the document will amount to 1,771 projects.
The total value of the new projects amounts to 210.5 million lei, of which 2.3 million lei is the contribution of the local self-government bodies.
Special attention is paid to the elaboration, updating and adjustment of the general urban planning plans, which play a key role in the sustainable development of localities and in providing citizens with quality public services.
The inclusion of new initiatives will enable local authorities to receive public funding for infrastructure facilities, public buildings, local roads, water supply and sewerage systems, street lighting, parks and recreation areas.
Also at the first meeting, the government will consider projects on the coordination of the international volunteering program with France, sanitary regulations for medical institutions, tobacco products, water quality issues, organization of the work of the Defense Ministry, etc.
