In an address to the citizens, the prime minister said that during this period he had held more than 400 meetings, discussions, meetings and events.

“It is two months since I accepted the post of prime minister. I said from the very beginning that I would not bind myself to strict deadlines or formal frameworks, but I felt the need to share with you a few personal impressions, a brief informal report and some reflections. These are two short months on the calendar, but extremely rich in experiences and challenges. Time acquires a different meaning, because you understand that every minute, every meeting bears a real responsibility towards all Moldovan citizens,” the prime minister said in a video message published in the evening of 31 December.

He added that during these two months, the government adopted “a budget of responsible investments for 2026” and formed “a team of honest, committed and energetic professionals”.

The prime minister emphasized active interaction with society, business, experts, local authorities, as well as the need to negotiate with the opposition: “It is not easy, but it is essential.”

Special attention was paid to attracting investors and preparing for the spring conference on investments together with the European Commission.

“Building a modern and strong state that provides security and prosperity is not done overnight. But I can say with full responsibility: Moldova is moving forward,” Alexandru Munteanu emphasized, thanking both supporters and constructive critics.

We shall remind you that the Munteanu government took the oath of office on November 1, 2025. Immediately after the inauguration, President Maia Sandu outlined key reforms for the new Cabinet of Ministers, aimed at Moldova’s integration into the EU.
