In particular, 0.12 million lei were allocated in October in the form of additional payments for cutting down fruit plantations. Another 1.74 million lei were approved for advance payments, in particular, for the development and modernization of the material and technical base of research and training (by purchasing a combine harvester) within the measure “Knowledge transfer, innovation and training”.
Payments in the form of post-investment subsidies amounted to MDL 0.31 million and are intended for investments in crop production, in production, processing or marketing infrastructure in crop production.
About 28.1 million lei were approved for applications for direct payments in animal husbandry per head of animal, and 29.15 million lei – for applications for direct payments in animal husbandry per kg of products (cow, sheep and goat milk).
Another 0.06 million lei were approved for investment projects on soil reclamation, improvement and protection, and 11.36 million lei for the implementation of investment projects within the LEADER program, of which 3.7 million lei were allocated to measure 1 (Functioning of local initiative groups) and 7.65 million lei to measure 2 (Implementation of local development strategy). At the same time, more than 170 projects were approved under measure 2, distributed over 3 sectors.
In the public sector, 85 projects were subsidized, the most demanded being: recreational, cultural and sports activities; education and training; public services and management, tourism; health and social assistance; construction/development/modernization of local infrastructure.
In the business sector, 76 projects were approved in the following areas: agriculture – projects related to processing, engineering, animal husbandry, beekeeping, etc.; trade and services – salons, stores, hairdressers, cafes, workshops; tourism – guest houses, agrotourism, local promotion; other – educational, gastronomic, creative projects; industry and construction – industrial equipment, machinery.
At the same time, 3.59 million lei was allocated from the government’s intervention fund to compensate the increase in electricity prices.
