According to the state-owned utility, the procurement procedure is carried out in accordance with the Electricity Market Rules, approved by ANRE’s decision of August 7, 2020, and is aimed at selecting the most competitive energy sources in compliance with the principles of transparency, non-discrimination and fair competition. This initiative contributes to ensuring the safe, efficient and balanced operation of the National Electricity System, as well as maintaining an open and predictable procurement process for electricity market participants.
