The purpose of these amendments is to create a coherent and modern structure to facilitate the implementation of the provisions of the Town Planning and Construction Code, as well as to reduce administrative barriers and the balanced development of national infrastructure.
With another decree, the government amended the procedure for observing the behavior of operation, time intervention and postutilization of structures. The document’s terminology was harmonized with the requirements of the Urban Planning and Construction Code, it updated the names of the competent bodies and introduced technical clarifications regarding the possibility to engage another designer in case the initially appointed one cannot be contacted.
It also establishes requirements for the dismantling of buildings, waste management and application of environmental protection measures, and establishes the roles and responsibilities of certified professionals in accordance with European practice.
The implementation of these changes will contribute to improving the safety and durability of structures, strengthening discipline in the industry and uniform application of technical regulations.
