The information was circulated on the basis of a letter to Moldovan Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development Vladimir Bol from the head of the company AVTODOR (“Russian Highways”) V. Petrushenko.
The toll sections of the A-113 “Central Ring Road of the Moscow Region”, M-119 “Vostok” and A-289 “Krasnodar – Slavyansk-on-Kuban – Temryuk – A-290 Novorossiysk – Kerch” highways use the barrier-free toll collection technology “Free Flow”, which records the passage of vehicles using a transponder or license plate.
If there is a transponder in the vehicle, payment is made from the personal account of the device. In case of malfunction, absence or insufficiency of financial means, the system registers the license plate of the vehicle, and within 5 calendar days the user is obliged to pay the road toll.
Failure to fulfill the obligation to pay the fee shall entail imposition of administrative fines on the owner of the vehicle in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.
