The match took place at the arena in the capital’s La Izvor Park. The meeting was officiated by field referees Oleg Cebotari (Chisinau) and Victor Lucita (Bardar village, Ialoveni district).

The bronze medalist was the ARF Dubăsari club, which in the match for the third place had a confident victory over “Fortuna” (Choresti village, Ialoveni district) with the score 5:0. Sergiu Răilean and Andrei Negare scored doubles and Oleg Ciopu scored another goal.

The fifth place went to CS Atletic (Straseni), which defeated the rivals from Chișinău in a penalty shootout (9:9 in regular time, 3:1 on penalties). Seventh place went to Real Petrești (Ungheni district), which defeated Ialoveni 3-0 in the final match of the tournament.

“Nistru” won the championship trophy for the fifth time in a row and moved closer to the club “Djoker” (Chisinau), which became the Moldovan champion seven times and did not play last season. The first champion in 2008 was the club “Colonița”.

In the season that ended, Nistru made a winning double – in July the club won the Moldovan Beach Soccer Cup. In the final, it defeated ARF Dubăsari 7:2.
