The government on Wednesday approved a decision on granting the status of industrial park to the municipal enterprise Multifunctional Industrial Platform Glodeni. It is located on an area of 10 hectares. A comfortable organizational, administrative and fiscal environment for successful production and industrial activities will be created for economic entities. The residents will be provided with the necessary utility infrastructure – water, sewerage, gas and electricity.
The project is part of the Moldova Growth Plan supported by the European Union and represents one of the four industrial platforms planned by the government to stimulate the regional economy.
There are ten other industrial parks in Moldova, with 135 resident economic agents at the end of last year. The number of employees employed in them increased from 285 in 2013 to 4,383 in 2024. Total investments in industrial parks exceeded 4.2 billion lei.
