A building code inspection of a burned attic has begun

The National Inspectorate for Technical Supervision (NITN), following the recent fire in an apartment building in Durleş, has launched an inspection of quality compliance at all stages of the construction process, from conception and design to project implementation and building operation.

The control also extends to the scope of state supervision of compliance with fire safety measures and the provisions of legislative and regulatory acts in the field of fire safety.

Now the administrative cases transferred from the local public authority are checked for the issuance of authorization acts and compliance with the current norms. All technical project documentation is also checked.

At the same time, all persons involved in the design, construction and management of the affected building have been summoned, namely: the designer, the executor of the works, the person responsible for technical supervision, the construction manager and the building administrator.

It is reported that the owner has still not responded to the phone call of the Inspectorate representatives and a summons was sent to him by registered mail to summon him to the NITN central office.
