“Milsami” and “Zimbru” are fined 175 thousand lei

Both clubs were fined 175 thousand lei for violating the rules of behavior at the stadium in Orhei, where the match of the 6th round of the Super League between Milsami and Zimbru (2:0) took place. The club “Milsami” (Orhei) was fined 60 thousand lei for mistakes made during the organization of the match, and “Zimbru” (Chisinau) was fined a commensurate fine for the behavior of its fans, who actively used pyrotechnics during the match and for the violation of public order.

At the end of the match, there was a fight between the players of both clubs, in which the head coach of Zimbru, Turkish specialist Hikmet Karaman, also took part. FMF analyzed the incident and decided to impose an additional fine of 40,000 lei on both clubs (20,000 lei from each club).

Zimbru footballer Ibrahim Sula, who provoked the fight, was disqualified for four matches, while the club has to pay a 5,000 lei fine for his aggression.

Bisons’ coach Karaman, who showed physical aggression towards the inspector of the meeting, is also disqualified for four matches. “Zimbru will have to pay an additional fine of 10 thousand lei for his misconduct.

Both clubs have the right to appeal the decision of the Disciplinary Commission under the FMF within 7 days.

At the moment, Milsami leads the Super League standings with 16 points. “Zimbru, with 11 points, is in the third place.
