Of these, 65% ensure the continuity of projects launched under the NDP 2025-2027, while every third initiative is new, adapted to the current needs and objectives of European integration.

Among the major projects planned are the repair of 200 km of railroads and 1,370 km of national roads. The construction and modernization of thousands of kilometers of roads, including the Iasi – Ungheni – Chisinau – Odessa highway, the Bălţi-Floreşti – Mărculeşti highway, the access road to the Coseuti – Iampol bridge, as well as several roads in rural areas, are planned for the coming years.

Also, 2 district hospitals will be built in Balti and Cahul and 100 new ambulances will be purchased. At the same time, it is planned to create 3000 new places in nurseries and kindergartens, renovate 90 schools, digitize more than 250 public services and support more than 3200 small and medium-sized businesses.

According to the document, the government will further expand water supply and sewerage networks in another 100 settlements, as well as invest in the country’s energy security by building a 70-km power transmission line Straseni-Gutinas and a 90-km power transmission line Baltii-Dnistrovsk.

Over the next three years, the Government will focus its efforts on modernizing settlements, improving living conditions, creating jobs, strengthening social and economic infrastructure, ensuring citizen security and expanding access to digital public services. At the same time, the NDP supports the reforms necessary for Moldova’s accession to the EU by 2030.

The implementation of the National Development Plan will be evaluated annually based on the results and impact indicators established for each strategic objective. The results will be reflected in the Government’s consolidated annual report submitted to the Parliament.
