The locality, which will become a “Sports Capital” for one calendar year, will have the opportunity to be a national model in the field of sports by organizing events and investing in local infrastructure.
Within the framework of the program, the selected locality will finance from the state budget the Sport Fest, the Sport National Forum, training courses for local sports workers, national competitions in various sports and will develop a sports action plan for local authorities.
The contest is open for participation of local public authorities of the 1st level, except for Chisinau and Balti municipalities. The deadline for submitting applications for participation expires on May 15, 2025.
