Donald Trump
This is evidenced by the results of a Reuters/Ipsos poll.
According to the poll, only 33% of respondents surveyed over a four-day period said they approved of Trump’s performance in the White House, while 64% disapproved.
Trump’s approval rating, which has fallen from the 35% recorded in a poll that concluded in early August—the lowest of his current term— has now matched the lowest level reached during his previous term, recorded in December 2017.
The poll data shows that about 80% of Americans—including 87% of Democrats and 71% of Republicans—believe that U.S. involvement in the war with Iran “will last a long time.”
At the same time, only 16% of respondents believe the conflict is likely to end in a few weeks.
The Reuters/Ipsos poll, conducted online, surveyed 1,166 adult U.S. citizens nationwide, with a margin of error of 3%.
