This work is necessary to clarify the ownership of public property, determine its boundaries, and ensure its accurate registration in the Real Estate Registry. In addition, these services will enable the Public Property Agency to prepare the land and structures for potential procedures involving lease, rental, gratuitous use, the establishment of easements, or sale.
The scope of work includes identifying land, buildings, structures, and isolated non-residential premises; verifying the on-site situation; reestablishing or modifying boundaries; and determining the actual location of structures on state-owned land.
1 million lei for the state’s property registry
To carry out this work, the Public Property Agency has announced a public procurement for cadastral services related to real estate owned by the state, with an estimated value of 1.048 million lei, excluding VAT.
According to the tender specifications, the clarification period is set for July 31 through August 10, 2026, and bids may be submitted from August 10 through August 17, 2026. The deadline for completing the work phases is 90 to 180 calendar days from the date the request is sent to the contractor and the necessary documents are submitted by the Public Property Agency.
The recording and management of public property is one of the systemic problems facing the public sector. Previously, the parliamentary commission of inquiry into the activities of state-owned enterprises found that some ministries do not have complete information about the assets and documents of the enterprises under their authority, and that some of the assets are not subject to adequate oversight by their founders.
