Since the beginning of this year, customs authorities have collected approximately 23.6 billion lei for the state budget, which is 102.8% above the target.
At the same time, between July 20 and 26, 2026, individuals imported goods into Moldova’s customs territory, whose value exceeded the tax-free limit, resulting in duties collected totaling approximately 21.7 million lei—2.5% of the total amount collected during that period.
In addition, 12,621 customs declarations were processed over the past week, and the flow of vehicles totaled 96,033 border crossings. The busiest customs checkpoints remain Leușen and Sculeș, with 20,178 and 16,091 border crossings, respectively.
