The meetings will take place at the Presidential Administration building on Friday, July 10, and Saturday, July 11, in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova.
Schedule of consultations for Friday, July 10:
10:00 a.m. — “Democracy at Home” parliamentary faction;
11:00 a.m. — “Our Party” parliamentary faction;
1:00 p.m. — “Alternative” parliamentary faction;
2:00 p.m. — Parliamentary Faction of the Party of Communists of the Republic of Moldova;
3:00 p.m. — Parliamentary Faction of the Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova.
On Saturday, July 11, at 10:00 a.m., the head of state will hold consultations with the parliamentary faction of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS).
According to the Office of the President, the purpose of the consultations is to nominate a candidate for the position of prime minister to form a new government. According to the Constitution, following consultations with parliamentary factions, the president nominates a candidate for the post of head of government, who must then present a program of action and the composition of the cabinet to Parliament in order to secure a vote of confidence.
