This was announced by Polish President Andrzej Duda during the opening of the 10th anniversary 10th Trimoria Summit in Warsaw.
The Three Seas Initiative, also known as the Baltic, Adriatic, Black Sea Initiative, or Trimorje, is an international economic and infrastructure initiative uniting 13 countries of the European Union located near the Baltic, Black and Adriatic Seas (Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Latvia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Greece).
Only Moldova and Ukraine have been associate members of the ITM so far. The strategic partners of the initiative are the USA, Japan, the European Commission and Germany.
The aim of the association is to establish a regional dialog on various issues affecting member states.
