The program aims to strengthen national capabilities to prevent, detect and effectively respond to potential incidents posed by chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear risks.
These objectives will be achieved by: equipping authorized agencies with specialized equipment and the necessary technical infrastructure; training and continuing education of personnel in the relevant fields; strengthening cooperation and coordination among responsible authorities; raising awareness of the general public regarding these risks; and developing clear mechanisms for rapid response in emergency situations.
This program represents an important tool for reducing risks to public health, the environment and national security, and is in line with international standards and commitments in the field of collective security.
At the same time, the program reaffirms our country’s commitment to building a secure, well-prepared State that meets international standards for non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and protection of the population.
