According to the Ministry of Culture, the call for proposals is open to state and local cultural institutions, NGOs with a cultural profile, private individuals who work in the cultural sector, as well as local initiative groups ready to propose original and socially significant ideas.
Projects can cover a variety of areas, including music and visual arts, painting, sculpture and graphics, film, library and museums, cultural research initiatives and sustainable cultural tourism projects.
A total of 10 areas are eligible for funding: cultural tourism, training of cultural professionals, book purchases, museums, folk art, literature, theater, music, choreography, photography, protection of cultural heritage, organization of festivals, etc., as well as cultural tourism.
Applications for the contest of projects under the program “Access to Culture 2025” are accepted until May 17.
It is noted that up to 1 million lei will be allocated for each event.
