Anna Kozeletska was born in Kryvyi Rih and is a graduate of the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts. The artist has been living and working in the Republic of Moldova since 2022 and has been a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 2025. In her work, she explores the interplay between light, colour and atmosphere. In 2023, her work ‘The Source of Kyiv’s Eternity’ received an award at the ‘Art of the Young’ competition organised by the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine.
The exhibition presents a retrospective of the artist’s work from 2017 to the present day. It includes landscapes, still lifes, portraits and figurative works. The artist’s creative method is based on a vivid perception of nature and plein air painting, which allows her to capture the ever-changing state of the environment.
The centrepiece of the exhibition is the series ‘Gardens of Moldova’, which the artist began working on back in 2021. In these paintings, Anna has captured corners of various regions of the country, conveying their unique atmosphere through a subtle interplay of light and colour.
At the opening, Anna Kozeletska personally presented her works and spoke about her creative journey. The event was attended by Lesya Shnyrkova, First Secretary of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Moldova, and Florina Brăzu, Chair of the Union of Artists of Moldova.
