
According to Ion Berlinski, the move from Casa Presei would generate significant additional costs and affect advertising revenues, which would have decreased the financial sustainability of the publication. Berlinski said the newspaper would continue to operate in digital format only, if a solution could be found for the online platform.

In an official correspondence dated May 6, 2026, the General Directorate for the Administration of Buildings of the Government of the Republic of Moldova informed that the building on Al. Pushkin no. 22 will undergo capital repairs. The document provides for the termination of the lease contract as of June 30, 2026 and calls for the release of the premises, the payment of debts and the official handover of the rooms.
The institution states that the works are necessary to modernize the building and expresses its willingness to offer alternative premises in other locations.
