15 polling stations will be opened in Orhei municipality

In a month's time, on May 17, local elections and referendums will be held in 12 localities of the country. The most polling stations will be opened in Orhei municipality.

Elections are scheduled for different reasons. In the village of Copceac ATU Gagauzia, the local council was disbanded because it had not held meetings for six months, in several localities mayors became deputies, etc.

40 polling stations will be opened for electoral events. According to the Central Election Commission, the most polling stations will be opened in Orhei municipality – 15 in total, where voters will be able to exercise their right to express their will.

Six polling stations will be opened in the town of Taraclia, and four polling stations each will be opened in Costeşti village, Ialoveni district, and Copceac village, ATU Gagauzia.

Three polling stations will be organized in Rusestii Noi commune, Ialoveni district, and two polling stations each in Mascheuti village, Criuleni district. There will be one polling station each in Topala village of Cimislia district, Plop (Donduseni), Frumusica (Floresti) and Saratenii Vechi (Teleneşti).

Local referendums will be held in Sadic commune, Cantemir district, and Hăsnăşişov Mari village, Drochia district. One polling station will be opened there each.
