In the last issue of LP we told about the fact that at the European Youth Olympic Wrestling Championships (U-23) in Tirana (Albania) the only representative of the fair sex from Moldova at the tournament, 21-year-old Mihaela Samoil, won a silver medal in the weight category up to 55 kg, and freestyle wrestlers Ion Marcu and Eugen Mihalcean became bronze medalists in the weight categories up to 74 kg and up to 86 kg.
In March, the most discussed movie of the year, “The Prince from Bubueche”, went on a national tour. After two full houses in Balti, it was seen on March 2 by the audience in Cahul. Next up are Rezina, Soroca, Drochia and Ungheni. The premiere of the picture took place in Chisinau on February 13.
