According to the report of the Ministry of Finance on the execution of the national public budget components in 2025, the own revenues of the health insurance budget accumulated in the amount of 10,165.6 million lei. This is by 13.8% (1,236.2 million lei) more compared to the previous year 2024.
The part of transfers received by the health insurance funds from the state budget last year amounted to 7,328.0 million lei. This is by 4.7% (328.6 million lei) more compared to 2024.
Expenses and non-financial assets were recorded at 17,396.9 million lei. As well as revenues in 2025, they increased by 9.8% (1,547.0 million lei) compared to the previous year 2024.
The execution of the mandatory health insurance funds ended with a surplus of 96.7 million lei.
The cash balances on the accounts of the mandatory health insurance funds as of December 31, 2025 amounted to 2,320.9 million lei.
