Lucian Florea, an entrepreneur from Romania, has revealed his intention to enter the Moldovan fast-food market in 2026 with the Fryday chain of restaurants, Logos Press reports.

Romanian Fryday will quickly feed Moldovans

“We will open the first restaurant abroad, in the Republic of Moldova”, Florea told Romanian publication zf.ro.

Fast-food restaurant chain Fryday doubled its revenue in 2025 to 140 million Romanian lei (545 million Moldovan lei).

At the end of last year, Fryday had 26 restaurants, double the previous year’s total. This year, the chain plans to reach 40 outlets and revenue of 225 million RON (875 million MDL or 45 million euros), Lucian Florea said.
