
As reported by the State Customs Service of Ukraine, exports of Ukrainian cheese during January-September 2025 increased by 21.8%, if compared to the same period last year – up to 10.6 thousand tons.
In monetary terms, exports for nine months brought $48.3m, which is 28.8% more than in the same period of 2024.
The largest buyers of cheese produced in Ukraine in the three quarters of 2025 were Moldova (34.5%), Kazakhstan (28.8%), as well as Germany (9.24%).
Cheese production in Moldova itself last year amounted to slightly less than 9 thousand tons, and consumption – about 15 thousand tons.
