Moldovan fruit producers got to Fruit Attraction

During September 30-October 2, 13 fruit producing companies belonging to the Moldova Fruct Association will present the achievements of the fruit growing sector of the Republic of Moldova at Fruit Attraction 2025, one of the most important exhibitions of the world horticulture in Madrid (Spain), - reports Logos Press.

The Moldovan delegation represents the country with a single stand, under the national logo and the slogan “Moldova – Taste Matters”. Its participation in FruitAttraction was made possible thanks to the support of UMAEF (Ukrainian-Moldovan American Enterprise Fund) and the Investment Agency of the Republic of Moldova.

“Moldova’s national stand at Fruit Attraction provides us with an excellent opportunity to strengthen the position of Moldovan fruit in high-margin markets and expand existing partnerships,” said Iurie Fale, executive director of the Moldova Fruct Association. – Moldovan producers of apples, pears, grapes and plums confirm their high professionalism, including those certified by the most stringent and reputable world-class safety and quality systems. We are ready to compete for the trust, preference and wallet of consumers from all over the world”.

“This is the first time we are participating in the exhibition with pear “Noiabresca”, a Moldovan variety recognized throughout Europe, says Varvara Mihov, export manager of Terra Vitis SRL. – We see a growing interest in this variety, including from our partners from the Netherlands, who have adopted it under the name Xenia. Our goal is to attract importers with the quality of both our grapes and our pears, in order to increase recognition and expand our customer base”.

“We are not used to selling cheap, and this is our main advantage,” emphasizes Ion Ionas, manager of Ionex Trans SRL. – We came to the exhibition with plums of the varieties “Stanley”, “Impresso”, “Blue Free”, “President”, “Top Hit” and “Moldova”. And the interest of visitors to all our products is very high. We want to attract new customers, but at the same time we keep a fair price for the quality we offer, because it makes us stand out in the market”.

“For us, this exhibition is an opportunity to strengthen relationships with existing customers and establish new partnerships,” summarizes Valeria Kaduk, administrator of Smarta-as SRL. – For the first time, our country’s stand is located in the pavilion dedicated to manufacturers from Europe, which gives us greater visibility. We noticed an increased interest on the part of buyers from India, had productive negotiations with representatives of Romanian chains, as well as talked to representatives of the Middle East, Italy, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Spain, Portugal and the UK”.

The XVII stage of Fruit Attraction brings together more than 2,500 companies from about 150 countries. For three days the exhibition halls in Madrid become an international center of trade in fruits and vegetables, which will be visited by about 120 thousand visitors.
