This was reported by UNDP Moldova, noting that the cluster, which brings together 15 factories and workshops from Soldanesti, Rezina, Ceadir-Lunga, Ribnita and Tiraspol, “demonstrates how cooperation can be an engine of sustainable economic development for communities on both sides of the Nistru River.”
Moldova Textile Export, established in 2024, received grant funding of $216,000 from the project “Development of Export Potential on the Banks of the Dniester” (AdTrade). Thanks to investments in modern equipment, training to optimize processes, study tours and participation in world-class exhibitions, small producers in this sector strengthen their presence on international markets, offering competitive, quality and environmentally friendly textile products.
This year, all cluster members will participate in the Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks. Thus, with the support of the UNDP/AdTrade project, producers from both banks of the Nistru River are increasing their export potential.
