
It is hard to say why this is so. Either the citizens have watched too many thriller shows, or they have lost confidence in the ability of the authorities in general and law enforcement agencies in particular to restore order in the country.
Recruiting resource Jobseeker analyzed the most popular jobs around the world, using data from search engines to find out what professions people are looking for most often. The study included 35 occupations often associated with the idea of a “dream job” and determined which careers are most coveted in each country.
According to Jobseeker, the most sought-after dream job in Romania is modeling. This preference reflects a craving for the world of fashion and attention, suggesting that many Romanians seek a career that combines creativity with social recognition.
In Ukraine, on the other hand, the teaching profession comes first. A choice that conveys a deep respect for education and its importance in society and in shaping younger generations.
This contrast between visible and idealized professions (like a model) and those that are necessary for society (like a teacher or a detective) shows that even though the cultural background and geographical location may be very close, people’s imagination and desires know no boundaries.
The spread of the most desirable professions in different countries and regions is very wide. Pilot (preferably in New Zealand, 25 countries in Asia and at least 14 in Africa); flight attendant (in the Americas: USA, Canada and Mexico, Brazil); blogger (Nigeria); Influencer (South Africa, South America); model (Asia, Europe); lawyer (Asia); writer (Asia); photographer (South America – Bolivia); cook (South America – Argentina); psychologist (Australia).
