This became possible after the old sports ground was reconstructed and a modern sports and recreation area was created on its basis. The project was realized with the support of the Agency for Regional Development Nord (ADR Nord).
A mini-football field with artificial turf, a multifunctional sports court for basketball and volleyball, as well as a training and fitness area were built on the territory of more than 7 thousand square meters. At the same time, the total area of landscaping is 0.72 hectares. In addition, a rainwater drainage channel was reconstructed as part of the project, which prevents future waterlogging of households, sports and green areas.
The total cost of the project “Reconstruction of recreational infrastructure and green areas along Pushkin Street in Donduseni” is 8.50 million lei, of which 7.65 million lei was allocated from the National Fund for Regional and Local Development (FNDRL). Another 849.84 thousand lei was allocated for the construction by the local authorities of Donduseni.
