In particular, we are talking about five forms of state support:
– 130.57 million lei was approved for the “additional” form of payment to cover 1,125 applications accepted in 2024;
– for the “in advance” form of payment, 8.91 million lei was approved for 14 applications received in 2024;
– for the “post-investment” form of payment, an amount of 5.64 million lei was determined for six applications submitted in 2023;
– for “direct payments” in the livestock sector (per kilogram of production), 16.5 million lei was approved for 76 applications received in 2025;
– the amount approved in March for measures under the LEADER program amounted to MDL 3.43 million.
According to the State Budget Law for 2025, the National Fund for Agriculture and Rural Development is set at 1.7 billion lei. This amount will be used to support investments and development of Moldovan agriculture. Only in March, the Agency allocated about 10% of the fund’s budget approved for this year.
