Bolat met with Moldova’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization, Eugen Osmocescu, and Minister of Defense Anatolie Nosati at the Ministry of Trade in Ankara, according to the Anadolu Agency.

The Moldovan officials visited Turkey to participate in the first meeting on defense industry cooperation between Turkey and Moldova.

During the talks, the parties discussed steps to accelerate bilateral trade, expand their strategic partnership in the defense industry and technology sector, and increase mutual investments, Bolat reported on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal.

Turkey is determined to develop economic and strategic cooperation with Moldova based on a shared vision and strong political will, he added.

Bolat called Moldova a friend and strategic partner, stating that both countries will continue to develop their long-standing relations in the future through concrete steps.
