The previous statement indicated that Alexandru Munteanu holds a 100% stake in 4i Capital Partners LLC, a company registered in the state of Delaware, U.S. The document noted that the firm provides financial and investment consulting services, and the value of the ownership interest was estimated at 100 thousand U.S. dollars. The ownership was listed in the name of Alexandru Munteanu, as a non-resident individual. In the declaration filed upon leaving office, this asset no longer appears, nor is any income from a potential sale of it indicated.

It is also worth noting that Alexandru Munteanu’s official biography, published on the government’s website, states that he is the founder and Managing Partner of 4i Capital Partners in Kyiv, and that his activities in this role were merely suspended following his appointment to the government.

His income from his government position was nearly equal to that from Robinhood

In his new financial disclosure statement, Munteanu reported income of 12.9 thousand U.S. dollars from the sale of assets held through Robinhood Securities (U.S.).

For the period during which he served as prime minister, Alexandru Munteanu reported income of 216,600 lei, earned at his primary place of employment within the State Chancellery. Of this amount, nearly 166,200 lei represents his salary, and 50,400 lei represents travel expenses.

The new declaration also states that Alexandru Munteanu continues to own two agricultural plots with a total area of 12 ares and an apartment with an area of 136 square meters.

The information regarding bank accounts has not changed. Munteanu reported having accounts and financial assets in the Republic of Moldova, the United States, Romania, Ukraine, and Italy, as well as investments in securities and funds, including U.S. Treasury bonds and the Mutual of America pension fund. The value of U.S. government securities increased slightly, while investments in the Mutual of America pension fund rose by nearly 90 thousand U.S. dollars.

Alexandru Munteanu continues to hold stakes in the Ukrainian companies Venbest Security Services (16.5%) and JSC VGP Ruta Ukraine (21.86%).

Alexandru Munteanu announced his resignation as prime minister on July 3. “Once I realized that I could no longer carry out my mandate in accordance with my principles and convictions, I chose to step down,” Munteanu announced. Eugeniu Osmochescu was appointed acting prime minister by presidential decree.
