Since the beginning of this year, customs has collected approximately 20.9 billion lei for the state budget, which is 102.5% higher than the target.
At the same time, between June 29 and July 5, 2026, individuals imported goods whose value at customs exceeded the tax-free limit, resulting in the collection of approximately 21.3 million lei, which accounts for 2.5% of the total amount collected during that period.
In addition, 11,721 customs declarations were processed over the past week, and the flow of vehicles totaled 86,293 border crossings. The busiest customs checkpoints remain Leuşeni and Sculeşti, with 17,777 and 14,325 border crossings, respectively.
