The Customs Service exceeded its revenue target for the state budget by nearly 132%

From July 6 to July 12, 2026, revenue from the Customs Service to the state budget totaled more than 957.9 million lei, which is 131.8% higher than the target for the reporting period.

Since the beginning of this year, customs has collected approximately 21.87 billion lei for the state budget, which is 103% above the target.

At the same time, between July 6 and 12, 2026, individuals imported goods into the country whose value exceeded the tax-free limit, resulting in the collection of approximately 20.96 million lei, which accounts for 2.19% of the total amount collected during that period.

In addition, 12,466 customs declarations were processed during the reporting period, and the flow of vehicles totaled 73,816 crossings. Leușen and Sculeș remain the busiest transit customs checkpoints, with 18,284 and 15,341 crossings, respectively.
