Passenger turnover increased by 8.1% and amounted to 1,594.6 million passenger-km.
Cargo transportation also increased – railway, road, river and air transport enterprises transported 4.5 million tons of cargo, which is 15.1% higher than in January-March 2025.
However, even here there is serious volatility depending on the type of vehicles.
The volume of cargo transported by road (+17.7%) and rail (+2.3%) increased over the period.
At the same time, the volume of cargo transported by river (-57.0%) and air (-56.7%) transport decreased.
At the same time, the total cargo turnover of transport enterprises amounted to 1332.3 million ton-km, which is 14.7% less than in the same period last year.
