The organization reported on its activities for the second quarter and the first half of 2026.

Between April and June 2026, ODA allocated non-repayable funding totaling 67.85 million lei to 275 beneficiary companies.

At the same time, funding for 165 investment projects was approved in the second quarter, with a total grant amount of 86.9 million lei. The investments attracted through these projects are estimated at 172.5 million lei, which will contribute to business development and enhance the competitiveness of the national economy.

The companies that received grant funding currently provide nearly 1,300 jobs, and the implementation of the approved investment projects will lead to the creation of approximately 800 new jobs, strengthen the labor market, and stimulate local economic development.

An analysis of the funded sectors shows that the manufacturing industry continues to attract the largest share of investments, accounting for approximately 33% of the total. It is followed by the agricultural sector with approximately 18%, and information and communication technologies with approximately 15%. The remainder of the funding is distributed across sectors such as hospitality and restaurants, education, recreation and leisure, energy production and supply, transportation and storage, health care and social assistance, as well as other services.

Projects supported under grant programs managed by ODA are primarily aimed at modernizing and optimizing production processes, implementing energy-efficiency solutions, business digitization, the development of innovative products and services, and the launch and expansion of businesses.

Results for the First Half of the Year

Cumulatively, since the beginning of the year, the value of grants disbursed has reached 91.38 million lei. Overall, during the first six months of 2026, 246 investment projects were approved for funding through non-repayable financial support instruments managed by ODA, with the total value of approved grants amounting to 129.9 million lei. These investments will contribute more than 268.9 million lei to the economy.

Currently, companies that have received support through these financial instruments are sustaining 2,720 jobs, and the implementation of these investment projects is expected to create an additional 1,280 jobs.

“Entrepreneurs’ continued interest in grant programs confirms the need for support tools that stimulate investment and business development. Through programs managed by ODA, we aim to have a direct impact on the economy’s competitiveness and job creation,” said Vadim Indoytu, the organization’s deputy director.
