These provisions are set forth in a draft order issued by the Ministry of Finance for public comment. The document provides for its retroactive application as of the date the new patent form is approved—that is, May 1, 2026. Suggestions and comments will be accepted until July 17, 2026.
As a reminder, the new patent form contains information for identifying the owner. This includes the owner’s personal data, type of activity, the duration and location of the activity, and the vehicle used for it. It also specifies the division of the State Tax Service that issued the patent.
In addition, it features a QR code. When scanned, it displays all information about the patent, including its status (active, suspended, expired, or renewed).
Order No. 233/2026 of the State Tax Service also approved the application form for obtaining a patent, through which the patent holder can also request a reduction in the fee.
As a reminder: in accordance with legislative changes, all permits that have been converted into notifications remain valid until their expiration dates.
