During the meeting, representatives of the Chinese business environment expressed great interest in the favorable conditions of doing business in the free economic zone, tax and customs privileges, the strategic position of Ungheni municipality, as well as access to the markets of the European Union and the CIS.
The delegation asked many questions regarding the functioning of FEZ “Ungheni Business”, priority areas for investments, available infrastructure and opportunities for cooperation with investors already operating in the zone.
The guests showed special interest in business development in the sphere of production, logistics and processing industry.
During the discussions the FEZ administration presented the competitive advantages of the region, strategic infrastructure projects under development, as well as the prospects for expanding international economic cooperation. The parties emphasized the importance of continuing the dialogue and identifying specific areas of partnership to attract investments.
